Created by the Elemental Sovereign of the Water to defend the seas of Arr-Kelaan against those who would do them harm, WaveMasters are powerful avatars. A WaveMaster resembles a huge golden whale. The eyes of a WaveMaster resemble huge, faintly glowing pearls.

Combat: WaveMasters rarely seek to engage in physical combat, preferring to use their magical abilities instead. WaveMasters have the spell casting abilities of an 18th level mage and an 18th level priest (with no restrictions to school or sphere). If physical combat is necessary, WaveMasters will smash ships or attackers with their massive flukes.
WaveMasters can also summon 12HD Water Elementals, one every three rounds, to aid them if necessary. These Elementals are completely loyal to the WaveMaster and cannot be persuaded to attack their summoner. Likewise, WaveMasters can summon aquatic creatures as if simultaneously using all of the Monster Summoning spells, once every three rounds. WaveMasters can only summon creatures native to the seas of Arr-Kelaan and extra-planar beings will not respond to the summons.

Habitat/Society: WaveMasters are the friendliest of the Elemental Masters, often seeking out ships and paralleling their course for days to converse with the sailors and passengers. They are fond of philosophical conversations and are eager to learn what other people believe about the nature of existence.

Ecology: Like normal whales, WaveMasters are filter feeders who consume vast quantities of krill and other plankton. WaveMasters will often join in feeding groups with normal whales and assists their hunt by actually summoning plankton.
