Resembling a bat-winged, furred lizard, RazorWings are evil avian dwellers of open prairies or sparse woodlands. They get their name from the sword-sharp ridges along the leading edges of their wings.

Combat: RazorWings always attack in pairs, from opposite directions. An opponent dodging out of one creature's way will usually find themselves in the path of the second. Their attack comes in the form of a raking wing-blade attack as the creature flies past its intended target. RazorWings are slow and awkward on the ground, unable to make effective attacks, and will only land when they are sure their prey is dead. Once on the ground, they need 25 feet of level ground to achieve enough momentum to launch into the air.

Habitat/Society: RazorWings gather in small flocks and always hunt in pairs. They make their lairs in the tops of trees to facilitate the extra room they need to take flight.

Ecology: RazorWings will feed an any warm-blooded creature, but are most fond of Humans and Halflings. RazorWings too immature to fly are brought fresh meat by the entire flock until they are ready to join in the hunt.
